The allergic reaction may be the next: difficulty breathing; hives;  swelling of your  throat, face,  tongue, or lips. Never use more than the recommended dose of Allegra.

This drug is an antihistamine, Allegra reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the human  body. This medicine can produce symptoms of itching,sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes .

This drug may use children and adults, if they have symptoms of seasonal allergies.   This drug is also used to treat skin hives and itching  caused by a condition called chronic idiopathic urticaria in children and adults .

Antacids can make it harder for your body to absorb Allegra. Because you should avoid using antacids within fifteen minutes after or before   taking a drugs that contains this drug (Allegra).

Certain antacids and fruit juices( apple, grapefruit, oranges) and  can make it harder for your body to absorb this drug.  Avoid taking any other allergy or cold drugs unless your pharmacist or health care professional has told you to.

Very important call you doctor and tell him, if you start to take Allegra. Also tell your doctor if you have kidney disease or allergia. Health care professionals don’t  known whether this drug will harm an unborn baby. If you plan to become pregnant or are pregnant consult with specialist . Also we don’t know may or not this drug  passes into breast milk, because if your brestfeed woman don’t take Allegra.

The children, who have 6 years old, may take  Allegra capsules and tablets , if have seasonal allergia.  Children ages two through eleven may take allegra Allegra oral suspension. Also Allegra may be used in children as young as two months old, if they  have chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Before taking Allegra, tell your pharmacist if you take other drug that make you sleepy:

-cold drug

-narcotic pain medicine,

-allergy drug,

-sedatives,

-sleeping pills,

-relaxers,

-drugs for seizures,

-drugs anxiety

-drugs depression

This drugs  can add to sleepiness caused by Allegra.   Very important talk your pharmacist, if you take:

• erythromycin (EryPed, E.E.S., Erythrocin, Ery-Tab, Pediazole);

• ketoconazole (Nizoral).

Call your pharmacist at once if you have allergic reaction to this drug: hives;  swelling (  lips,face, throat, tongue).  difficulty breathing;

Less serious side effects of Allegra may include:

• menstrual cramps;

• diarrhea,nausea,  upset stomach;

•  tired feeling, drowsiness;

• back or muscle pain;

• headache.

Stop taking this drug and call your pharmacist if you have chills,fever,  cough, body aches, or other flu symptoms.

Ask a pharmacist or doctor  before taking this drug if you have kidney disease or if you have allergia to any medicine .   You shouldn’t take with apple juice,grapefruit juice or orange juice.

Also, there are other medicine  that can affect this drug. Report your doctor or pharmacist about all drugs you use. This includes over-the-counter,prescription,  herbal products and vitamin .
